The subjunctive is used to refer to situations that are not real (but are desirable) or hypothetical situations.
- AS (conjunction) : Adjective + as + subject + verb = although
Angry as he was, he couldn't help smiling ⇔ Angry though he was, he couldn't help smiling
- Must + inf: We use must + inf to say that we are almost sure something is true about the present.
Opinion adjectives go before descriptive adjectives.
